The Consulate General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Tarragona has officially announced the launch of an exceptional measure aimed at simplifying administrative procedures for members of the Moroccan community residing in Spain. The decision comes in implementation of directives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Living Abroad, in coordination with the Moroccan Embassy in Madrid, the Ministry of Interior, and the General Directorate of National Security.
According to the official statement issued on February 11, the initiative is designed to support Moroccan expatriates by facilitating access to essential administrative documents. Beneficiaries can now apply directly through the consulate for the Criminal Record Certificate (Fiche Anthropométrique) with an apostille stamp, starting immediately.
The consulate invites applicants to book an appointment in advance via the official website rdv.consulat.ma, selecting the service “Copy of Criminal Record – Fiche anthropométrique.”
Important Notes:
Applicants must present the original national identity card along with a copy when submitting their request.
Power-of-attorney applications that were scheduled before the announcement remain valid.
Eligible individuals may choose between completing the process through an authorized representative—subject to consular registration requirements—or submitting the request directly at the consulate.
This measure reflects Morocco’s ongoing commitment to improving consular services, bringing administration closer to its citizens abroad, and ensuring faster and more efficient processing of official documents.
